![]() Prepare for the unexpected and protect your coworkers with a business first aid kit. Each work place is unique, and as such you need to make sure you have a proper first aid kit available. We carry a variety of first aid kits, some designed to accommodate 3 people, or 35, or 50, and others which are capable of supplying items for up to 100 or more people. There are specialized kits that can be used to flush debris from one's eyes, as well as kits with face masks to prevent the wearer from inhaling fumes or chemicals. There are kits designed to help administer CPR and kits designed to help with burn care. Ultimately, the type of first aid kit or kits you need depends on the nature of the work you do. OSHA and ANSI regulations may also dictate the type of first aid kits you need to have in your work place. For the safety of yourself and your coworkers you should make sure all staff members are aware of where the first aid kit is stored and establish which member of your team is responsible for re-ordering new first aid supplies when necessary. New supplies can be found in our refill section. First aid kits must be checked periodically and you will need to replace items that have been used or have expired. A kit loses its usefulness when items are not replaced or items are past their expiration date. Unfortunately you cannot always prevent accidents and emergencies from happening, but you can control the response, and a well-stocked first aid kit or kits will allow you to protect your employees when they need it. |
