CPR Kits

CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) is a life-saving first aid measure that can keep blood pumping when someone has lost consciousness and stopped breathing. CPR consists of chest compressions and proving breaths. The compressions manually work the heart muscle to keep the heart pumping. The rescuer can provide breaths by exhaling into the individual's mouth or using a handheld device that fills the patient's lungs with air. These measures work to keep the patient's organs working until additional medical help can arrive.

Our CPR kits include everything you need should you have to preform CPR. A face mask allows the rescuer to provide mouth-to-mouth without coming into direct contact with the patient. A mask allows for a better seal, so all of the air the rescuer breaths into the mask is directed into the patient's mouth and lungs. Most masks are clear so the rescuer can still view the patient's mouth in order to see the color of their lips, which can indicate whether the CPR is working. A clear mask is also an advantage because it allows the rescuer to see into the patient's mouth. If the patient vomits or there are secretions the rescuer can see this and can clear the patient's airway.

It is best only for people who have been trained to preform CPR to actually do so. In order to help people train and practice we also carry CPR training Manikins that can be used in training sessions with an instructor.
