Dressing Pads

When an adhesive bandage is not enough to do the job you need dressing pads. Gauze is a very popular material for dressing pads. Gauze features a loose, open weave and is typically made of cotton. It is very absorbent so it can hold fluids that come off a wound without leaking and causing a mess. It does not stick to injuries, so it is safe to use on delicate burns and a variety of other wounds. Gauze can also be used on lacerations, scrapes, and punctures. Another advantage of gauze is that it allows air to pass through, so wounds can breathe and do not become too moist. Conforming gauze roll bandages are handy because it can be wrapped around an arm or leg to completely cover the injury or it can be cut to size to make sure you have proper coverage.
