Hard hats are necessary when there is danger of objects falling from above, or when working with electricity. Hard hats are also worn to protect the wearer from hitting his or her head when on construction sites, in warehouses, or working in the field. State and federal laws regulate when hard hats must be worn and what type of helmet is necessary, so for your own safety as well as the safety of your employees make sure you know and follow all guidelines and any safety gear used meets the minimum standards set by ANSI (America National Standards Institute).

All of our hard hats are constructed of a high-density polyethylene that withstands impact for dependable protection. To ensure a proper fit our hard hats utilize either a 4- or 6-point ratchet suspension or a 4- or 6-point snap lock suspension to allow for comfortable wear. The suspension systems in all of the hard hats available on our site are replaceable so when they begin to show signs of wear they can be removed and a new suspension can be put into place to ensure the hat continues to fit and protect properly. We offer helmets with rain troughs molded into the sides that collect and direct water to keep the wearer dry, as well as smooth hard hats that are free of any ridges to allow water to quickly drain off, which is ideal when working with or near electricity.
