Immobilizers

When you are providing medical care you in the field immobilizers can become a very necessary tool. You need to make sure your patient does not move and possibly worsen or cause additional damage to an injury, and you also need to make sure your patient is comfortably secured to the backboard. We offer a wide selection of immobilizers that meet these requirements.

Many of the head immobilizers available on our site feature a padded design to cushion the patients head. Hook-and-loop closure allows the blocks to be adjusted for a custom and secure fit. While providing safety and comfort are top concerns, an immobilizer cannot interfere with medical care, so our head immobilizers feature large ear holes that allow you to monitor your patient's ears to check for bleeding or fluid drainage. There is also a line of pediatric immobilizers to ensure a proper fit when providing care to children. Since our immobilizers do not feature metal components they can be worn during X-rays, MRI and CT scan procedures to keep your patient secure at all times. In addition to head immobilizers we also carry leg immobilizers that help keep a patient protected and held in place.

Our immobilizers also feature easy to clean surfaces so you can disinfect them between uses for use again and again. Many are also waterproof and even buoyant so you can go where your work takes you and know your equipment can stand up to the elements and conditions. Replacement straps and pillows are also available and allow you to switch out broken or lost straps or pillows to keep your equipment in tip-top order and ensure you are ready when called upon.
