![]() Welding requires specific gear and we carry a wide array of masks to keep you protected while you take care of business. Welding head gear protects the welder's eyes and face from burns, and sparks, UV light, infrared light, and heat. Welding helmets feature a lens shade which is a viewing window covered with a filter. The welder views their work through the lens shade. In order to protect the welder's vision the lens shade is usually too tinted to view anything when not illuminated by the welding arc. We feature a wide selection of helmets that have auto darkening technology. This technology utilizes an electronic LCD shutter to automatically darken the lens shade when exposed to the welding arc. The darkness lifts when the bright welding arc is not present, so the welder can safely see when welding and does not need to remove the helmet once the weld is complete in order to see again. Many of our helmets are designed to minimize carbon monoxide build up and feature space to allow for respirators for additional safety measures. We offer full face helmets that provide protection from sparks to burns on the full face and neck. Our helmets feature adjustable suspensions to ensure a customized and comfortable fit. We also offer welding goggles. Our goggles are indirectly vented so the lens does not fog, ensuring a clear line of vision. Adjustable headbands ensure the goggles stay in place during use. Make sure your gear meets the state and federal safety standards in place for your area. Routinely inspect your gear to make sure it is in working order. |
