Megaphones
A megaphone, also known as a bull horn, is a device used to amplify a person's voice. The cone-shaped horn directs the voice towards a specific direction. An electric megaphone utilizes a microphone and loudspeaker to further amplify the speaker's voice. This tool can be very helpful when used by emergency personnel and first responders to give people direction and alert people to possible harm and danger. A megaphone can also be useful in non-emergency situations. Pretty much any time a large group of people in an open space need to be addressed, a megaphone is usually the quickest and easiest way to do it.
We have several megaphones available on our site. They differ by wattage. When deciding which megaphone is right for you, think about how big of an area you need to address. The higher the wattage, the more power the megaphone has, and ultimately the bigger the area it can cover. It depends on the wattage, but our megaphones feature a range of up to 1500 feet. The megaphones available on our site also feature an adjustable volume setting so you can customize the settings to fit the space you are in; so you can lower the volume to avoid overpowering a situation or you can raise the volume if you are not being heard. Our megaphones are also equipped with a siren to alert others to possible danger and harm. The convenient wrist strap offers convenient hands-free carrying or makes it easy to hang the megaphone within easy reach.
The megaphones on our site are battery operated (batteries not included, must be purchased separately).
