A rescue tube, rescue buoy, and rescue can are all floatation devices that allow a lifeguard to help save someone during a water rescue. Not all floatation devices are created equally, so make sure you get the right device for you and how you will use it. Some floatation devices are intended for use in pools, others the ocean. For instance, brass fittings will corrode in salt water, making a tube with brass components not ideal for ocean use.
Our ring buoys are filled with closed cell foam that gives the device buoyancy. The ring design allows you to place the floatation device under victim's arms so they can be kept afloat if they are unable to keep themselves above water. Our ring buoys also feature rope handles completely along the outer edge for easy grip. The buoys we offer are designed to resist rot and mildew for added convenience and long-term use.
We offer a wide selection of rescue tubes which are very buoyant and are designed to support a rescuer and victims. All of the tubes available on our site feature a leash that allows the lifeguard to tow the tube while swimming. Our tubes also feature the word 'Guard' clearly printed on the tube to help lifeguards identify themselves during an emergency situation. In addition to rescue tubes we also offer rescue tube covers.
Our rescue cans are constructed of durable material and are extremely buoyant, so they can support a rescuer and several victims at the same time. Again, the rescue can has a long leash to allow the guard to tether the can to their body.
